Before and after each menstrual cycle, it is important to sterilise Yuuki cup to destroy any bacteria it may have contacted during storage. This can be done using the handy sanitiser box provided, by simply adding water and popping in to the microwave following the instructions.
1.How often should I clean my menstrual cup?
It's best to change it every 4-8 hours, if possible. However, you can wear for up to 12 hours .
2. What are the care instructions?
Reusable menstrual cups should be washed and wiped clean before being reinserted into your vagina. They can be sterilised by boiling os using the provided sanitiser box
4. What are the benefits of using menstrual cup?
Menstrual cup hold more blood than tampons, they are thought to avoid the risk of TSS and since they're reusable, they are also better for the environment. Over time, they will ultimately save you money vs buying disposable products.
5. Can I use a menstrual cup in a public bathroom?
Yes! Simply empty down the toilet and wipe clean with a piece of tissue. You can also rinse clean with bottled water if you happen to have it.
6. What if my cup gets lost or stuck inside me?!
This is a really common question! Your cup won't get lost up there though, as there is nowhere for it to go! If the cup manages to go higher than you can reach, just relax, and try squatting and pushing the cup downwards with your abdominal muscles.

When folded for insertion, a menstrual cup isn't much bigger than a tampon. Once opened up inside, you still shouldn't feel it at all when inserted properly.
