Our feminine care range includes cloth pads & slim panty liners to suit needs, from light panty liners, regular flow pads to heavy post partum products. Our cloth sanitary pads will not just guarantee maximum comfort but also dramatically reduce your plastic waste and save you money! When you change to reusable menstrual pads, the comfort difference is amazing, there will be no going back to plastic disposable pads full of toxins! Washable sanitary towels can be washed with your regular wash, in the washing machine. We recommend having a wet bag for storage until you are ready to wash and for out and about. We have a great selection from organic and stay dry from Pink Daisy to handmade options from Tcs Eco and Fae Pads.
How to Use Your Collection
To use simply snap the buttons underneath your pants so they stay fixed in place. We recommend prewashing the menstrual pads before use. Pink Daisy soft organic pads are made with a slim layer of polyurethane laminated polyester to make them leakproof. Whilst Tcs Eco & Fae reusable menstrual pads have a fleece layer to keep you leak free. We recommend TCS heavy flow nights to use post baby, as they will be able to cope! With Pink Daisy have the pattern side next to your pants, whilst with TCS and Fae pads have the pattern side next to you for superior comfort. Review all styles and see which you may prefer. The soft panty liners may also be used alongside a menstrual cup, many people prefer to have that additional back up.
How Many Pads are Needed?
This is based on the length of your cycle, and how often you will be washing your collection. A washable pad will last the same length of time as a disposable, and we have special night time and heavy flow options. So work through your cycle and see how often you change, and how many days your menstrual cycle lasts. From that, you can work out how many pads you will need. Remember when you are starting out with your kit, you can wash every day if needed and build up your kit each cycle. We often recommend trying a couple of each brand to see which ones you prefer, compare their materials and styles and see which option you prefer and add one or two as you go. Many moms turn to washable pads just after having their baby, and when using cloth nappies, its a simple step to using a cloth menstrual option.
