It's made from medical grade silicone that can be used for up to 12 hours at a time. With its unique shape and design, the yukki cup will stay in place even when you go running or swimming - something that tampons simply cannot do.

Size small is recommended for a woman who hasn't given birth, while we would recommend the large for anyone who has given birth or is over the age of 30. 1. Before and after each menstrual cycle, it is important to sterilise Yuuki cup to destroy any bacteria it may have contacted during storage.  This can be done using the handy sanitiser box provided, by simply adding water and popping in to the microwave following the instructions.

1.How often should I clean my menstrual cup?

It's best to change it every 4-8 hours, if possible. However, you can wear for up to 12 hours . You can wipe or rinse between uses.

2. What are the care instructions?

Reusable menstrual cups should be washed and wiped clean before being reinserted into your vagina. They can be sterilised by boiling or using the handy steriliser box provided.

3. What are the benefits of using menstrual cup?

Menstrual cup hold more blood than tampons, they are thought to avoid the risk of TSS and since they're reusable, they are also better for the environment. Over time, they will ultimately save you money vs buying disposable products. We have had numerous reports from customers that they have noticed a reduction in menstrual cramps and an easing of Endometriosis symptoms, after using a menstrual cup.

4. Can I use a menstrual cup in a public bathroom?

Yes! Simply empty down the toilet and wipe clean with a piece of tissue. You can also rinse clean with bottled water if you happen to have it.

5. What if my cup gets lost or stuck inside me?

This is a really common question! Your cup won't get lost up there though, as there is nowhere for it to go! If the cup manages to go higher than you can reach, just relax,  and try squatting and pushing the cup downwards with your abdominal muscles.

6. Can I use a menstrual cup even with a heavy period?

Yes! To give you an idea of how much a menstrual cup holds, A fully saturated super tampon holds up to around 12ml of liquid. The large classic cup holds up to 28ml!

7. I suffer from cramps, won't this make them worse?

Actually, lots of people report a decrease in cramps using a cup. We aren't quite sure why!

8. Won't this make me smell?

No! Where menstrual blood develops an odour it's due to exposure to the air, and this doesn't happen using a menstrual cup. Just be sure to empty and rinse the cup at least every 12 hours.

9. Menstrual cups look bigger than tampons, won't wearing one be uncomfortable?

When folded for insertion, a menstrual cup isn't much bigger than a tampon. Once opened up inside, you still shouldn't feel it at all when inserted properly.

10. Can virgins use a menstrual cup?

Yes! Sexual activity has no bearing on your ability to use a menstrual cup. The most important thing is that you are comfortable with your own body. You might want to opt for a small size or Teen menstrual cup
